How to Personalize your sending options in Gmail
Do you prefer to have your inbox neat and tidy? Then this is the tip for you. Log into your Gmail account and go to the cogwheel in the upper right corner of the screen. Select settings from the drop down menu. Under general setting scroll down and look for 'send and archive'. Select: Show "Send & Archive" button in reply. This will enable you to now see to send options at the bottom of every email you receive. One option in gray to send and the other option in blue to send and archive. Archived emails will no longer appear in your inbox, however it will still appear in search results and if the sender replies to you it will reappear in your inbox.
Where to Archived emails go? "When you archive a message, it moves to the All Mail folder. Mail doesn't delete the message from the Gmail account. Using the Archive setting replaces all delete options, including tapping the Trash icon while you view a message, and selecting Edit to manage multiple messages."
